While pursuing all of my university degrees, I’ve been employed at university halls in a variety of roles. Working in these teams over the years, I’ve help ensure the physical, social, and emotional well-being of thousands of residents.
Halls life has also contributed to my own personal development: these roles have made me a much better listener, better at organising events and managing small teams, more excited about cultural variation, and just an altogether more likeable person.
At times, halls-related issues can be physically and/or emotionally draining. It is immensely rewarding, though, to be part of students’ lives as they grow academically and personally.
